The heart of the estate is located 2 km from the village, where our Agriturismo<\/strong> and our Winery<\/strong> are based, along with the restaurant, tasting room, and guest rooms. It is here that our vineyards of Vermentino<\/strong> are located, at an altitude of 350 meters a.s.l. on weathered granitic soil with a medium-textured, sandy tendency. They enjoy ideal sun exposure and the full benefit of the briny winds coming from the nearby sea, favored by an optimal temperature range between day and night, even during the hottest periods. The red grape vineyards (and a large part of the woodland and Mediterranean scrub used for grazing) are located 5 km from the main estate, on the mountain overlooking the village of Monti<\/strong> at the edge of the state forestry land (Monte Olia<\/strong>) at 550 meters a.s.l. These vineyards also grow on weathered granitic, poor, and sandy soil that is quite difficult to work, in a truly favorable climatic position, benefiting from the winds coming from the coast and significant temperature fluctuations.<\/p>\n

In this regard, the remains of Taerra<\/strong> are noteworthy, from which our Vermentino<\/strong> takes its name. The village is also rich in ancient rural churches<\/em>, where various religious festivals<\/em> are accompanied by culinary traditions<\/em> for which the village is well-known in the region. Nestled between the Monte Acuto<\/strong> plateau and Monte Limbara<\/strong>, its territory offers evocative landscapes in an alternation of cork oak forests, Mediterranean scrub undergrowth, vineyards, and unique granitic formations. Here, viticulture has ancient roots and remains the primary activity of the village today.<\/p>\n
