VERMENTINO DI GALLURA
Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin Varietal
Vermentino di Gallura is the only Sardinian wine that boasts the prestigious DOCG recognition. In Gallura, this white-berry varietal finds the ideal pedoclimatic conditions that ensure the highest quality level, especially thanks to the granitic soil and the dry, breezy climate. Our vineyards are cultivated in a hilly area, exposed to the sun and the mistral wind. The soil consists primarily of the weathering of ancient granitic rocks, rich in rock fragments and minerals. From our Vermentino di Gallura grapes, grown in the “Conca Sa Raighina” vineyards in the countryside of Monti (OT), we produce TAERRA, a DOCG Superiore with an intense and aromatic taste, and in the Cantuttu vineyards in the countryside of Monti (OT), we produce MEORU, a delicate and elegant DOCG.

CANNONAU DI SARDEGNA
Controlled Designation of Origin Varietal
Cannonau (Grenache, in French) is a black-berry varietal widely distributed in Sardinia. Until recently, the uncertain origin of this grape attributed its provenance to the Iberian Peninsula. However, very recent studies have extensively demonstrated its endemicity; in fact, remains of ancient grape seeds dating back 3,200 years have been found in various areas of the island (for example at Sa Osa – in the Tirso valley and beyond). This discovery has allowed Cannonau to be classified as the oldest wine in the Mediterranean Basin. From our Cannonau grapes, grown in the mountain vineyards at Serra Ozzanos in the countryside of Monti (OT), we produce the red DONOSU (aged in oak barrels) and the rosé VILÚ, a still wine with a beautiful pink color and a full, balanced taste..
